Which is the main office?
The main office where everything ALTCS related gets processed is the Phoenix office. There are many smaller regional offices in towns like Casa Grande, Chinle, Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Glob/Miami, Lake Havasu, Prescott, Sierra Vista, Tucson, and Yuma. All of these offices fee into the Phoenix office and depending on the workload, your application could go through any of the above offices.

Is ALTCS a Division of AHCCCS?
ALTCS is a division of AHCCCS but the application is different. There are different Phoenix offices for ALTCS, AHCCCS and Medicaid depending upon what you are looking for. In regards to ALTCS, the first step is to call in and request and application. After the initial application is received, a phone interview will be scheduled followed by a medical interview and a financial interview. Make sure to have all of your records in one place.
Veterans is another option.
In addition to applying for ALTCS at the Phoenix, AZ office, you also have to apply for the Veterans benefits. That is something that we can connect you with as well to streamline the entire application. Let us know if you served even one day of active duty during wartime. Not disclosing that you are a Veteran could potentially affect the application.
